TRAVEL BY BLOODLINE:

Here we are again and since we gave up on expectations long ago, we sit like mid-November jack o' lanterns, sinking farther into a different seat in familiar surroundings. My sugary spine flexes like a gummi worm as I sit and snaps like a pretzel log when I straighten up. I don't know how, but I can sense that I'm losing bone mass partaking in this tedious habit we share. I can't stop even if I wanted to. I need this. It's in my blood. It's who I am. It defines me. I'm lost without it. I can't even get to work without taking it. I need this…twice a day...this or a bus. A duh.
